Many people wonder why we have fear. Do you know why fear is your best friend? Fear is your best companion because fear is the greatest motivator on the planet. Fear is one of the greatest forms of love we possess. Sounds funny, right? Yes because there is so much confusion based around fear.

Fear causes us to run across the street, to avoid being road-kill. Fear is what gives you that extra little push, to work just that much harder because someone else is counting on you. Why do we have fear when we are alone in a big house and there is darkness?

Because fear heightens the awareness of your surroundings. Can too much fear hurt you? Of course, just like getting too much Vitamin C can give you cancer. Yet would you stop taking Vitamin C and bad mouth the amazingly healthy supplement [needed for your body], just because too much can hurt you?

Of course not.

Pay attention to your fears. Thank God for each fear you get. And recall the reason your body is giving you this wonderful gift. Fear is your friend, thank fear and appreciate the amazing energy you receive from your friend.

Just acknowledge why you are feeling fear, act on the fear and diffuse the fear once you have resolved, whatever the situation is.

This could mean, listening to see if you notice anything outside the ordinary - - If you are alone in your house, car, store, camping, or what have you. If all checks out, keep alert yet get on with what you are doing.

In other areas of our lives, fear motivates us to be better friends, spouses, parents, siblings and so on. Because fear reminds us that we can lose something if we do not protect and value that thing.

Whether fear motivates us to keep our health strong by exercising, or by keeping our marriage intimate through romantic surprises. Fear is the best re-call device mechanism we own. Fear preserves the love that you hold in your life.

No one wants to lose love, fear motivates us to stay away from activity that withdrawals love from our life. Protecting us from hurt before the pain can reach us. Fear is our body's  alarm system.

So just recall this insight, when you start feeling scared. Fear will keep you on the right track, just understand why we need fear. Then you can sleep good at night, knowing that fear is there to protect and keep you alive.

The next time you get that scared feeling in the dark [we won't tell anyone you still get it], just remember that your friend fear is looking out for you. Fear gives you extra strength, extra power and extra diligence.

Greet your fears each time you get them. Let them know you appreciate the message they are giving you, then act and get on with your life.

Chew on this for 24 hours, see what your subconscious thinks of this. Until next time, "may the force" be with you.
